Connecting Performers, Producers, and Possibilities.
FRIDAY, MARCH 20 – SUNDAY, MARCH 22, 2026
IN NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS
WHAT IS THE NORTHEAST AUDITION SUMMIT?
Northeast Audition Summit, LLC (NEAS) is a performing arts audition company created to expand opportunities for college students, early-career artists, and seasoned professionals across the Northeast region. Founded by long-time theatre professionals who recognized the lack of a centralized in-person audition experience in this part of the country, NEAS was built to make the audition process more accessible, personal, and community-driven.
Through the live audition summit and digital submissions, NEAS connects emerging and established talent with casting directors, agents, producers, and industry leaders. By providing high-quality, regional audition opportunities, we aim to reduce the need for long-distance travel and create a space where artists and employers can build relationships face-to-face.
At its core, NEAS strengthens the performing arts community by bringing people together, fostering meaningful connections, and opening doors for performers and industry professionals right here in the Northeast.
WHO WE ARE
The Northeast Audition Summit was founded by Nancy Barry and Kristen Wettstein, two theatre professionals with more than 60 years of combined experience, both onstage and behind the scenes.
Nancy has been attending combined audition conferences since 1984, bringing decades of insight into what makes these events meaningful, efficient, and inspiring. Kristen adds more than ten years of experience in theatre administration and operations, with a deep understanding of what both performers and producing organizations need to thrive.
Together, Nancy and Kristen currently lead Interlakes Summer Theatre as Executive Director and General Manager, guiding the company into its 19th season of producing high-quality summer stock musical theatre.
After decades of work in the field, they recognized a real need for a centralized, in-person combined audition event in the Northeast—a place where performers and producers can connect without traveling across the country or relying solely on virtual submissions. They believe in the value of meeting face-to-face, building relationships, and creating opportunities within our own region.
The Northeast Audition Summit was born from that belief: To bring performers and producers together, strengthen our theatrical community, and provide accessible opportunities right here in the Northeast.
